How many of you don't? I'm trying to decide wether or not to add one to my smallish wine list at my restaurant.
All of these answers are great so far. I may have to let this one go to a vote. I will say that I have one in mind that is very good. Bridlewood is the vineyard from California. I'm also putting their Viognier on the list. It's delicious!
Syrah is an incredibly versatile and durable wine. It is a great wine to pair with food and there are plenty of different styles around the world (French Rhone, Aussie Shiraz and California's Napa and Central coast regions). Also, it is a grape that is ready to drink now, no need to cellar. You will find that the rise in this particular varietal's popularity will continue to rise.
What are the different functions of a food and/or beverage menu in a restaurant? What are they for? Why are they used?
a list of dishes/drinks available in a restaurant
the food/beverages available or to be served in a restaurant or at a meal
without them how would we know what to order?
Don't want to look like an idiot when I order.

I am curious! How about we stay away from national chain establishments (or those with kids menus?)!
While I don't claim to be a gastronome, my favorite downtown restaurant is Marlowe's on the Sixteenth Street Mall. Marlowe's is a local restaurant that has a very eclectic menu that can please a wide range of tastes. I'm a vegetarian, but I frequently entertain carnivores, and Marlowe's has something for everyone.
For a great vegetarian lunch, try Taki's on Colfax.

What brand should I buy Iam"s or Menu., to get quality pet food?
Iams is not a good food.
You can not get a 'good' pet food from any grocery store or walmart, kmart ect…
You will only get it from pet stores, feed stores or off the internet.
Some of the "good quality foods" are:
Chicken soup for the dog lovers soul
Canidae
Wellness
Just google search any of those…
One big thing to consider, none of the foods I mentioned are on the recall list.
Even 'science diet' and 'Eukanuba' was on the recall list.
They put some of the same products in their food that the cheepest foods have in them. It comes from the same food plant. (some of the 'products' in the foods that is, the actual bag of food doesnt but what they put IN IT DOES come from the same plant—-yucko stuff, stuff your dog would turn his nose up at if he found it on the street ok? )
That should tell you something about the so called good foods that people think are so great. Their not.
There is ALOT of secrets about dog food that would shock you.
Do a google search on dog food nutrition and by-products…
On Elvis Duran and the Moring Zoo, a radio talk show they mentioned a website that sounded very intresting. It gives you tons of restruants and when you click on the restaurant it'll show you the nutrition label for each menu item they serve. This would come in great handy so I can watch what I eat better.
